Sarah Dacey studied for an MA in Contemporary Performance at York where she was awarded the Lady Lyons Millennium Scholarship. She recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, gaining her Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Studies with distinction and she continues to study with her professor, Alison Pearce. Whilst at the RAM, she was awarded the Van Smit Prize, won the Arthur Bliss Competition and came runner-up in the John Ireland Competition.

She performs regularly as a soloist throughout London, most recently in theatrical works at the Purcell Rooms and Battersea Arts Centre. She made her operatic debut with Opéra de Baugé in France in July 2007. She is also in great demand as an ensemble singer, performing regularly with the BBC Singers, London Voices, Exaudi Vocal Ensemble, Philharmonia Voices, Netherlands Radio Choir and with the choirs of St. Bride’s, the Brompton Oratory and St. George’s Hanover. She co-founded the new politically-minded contemporary cabaret ensemble, Cabaret Fou, with composer Rob Fokkens, who have performed at the Riverside Studios and elsewhere.
