PRSF grant

juice are chuffed to have been awarded a Performance Groups grant by the PRSF for Music Foundation in October, which will go towards all their activity over the coming year.

Performance with Shlomo!

juice performed at Blank Canvas's night at Cafe Oto in Dalston in September alongside the Camberwell Composer's Collective and fabulous beatboxer Shlomo; they loved their impromptu collaboration, a sort of gentle Bobby McFerrin's 'Circle Songs' with beats!

New Commisson from Lucy Mulgan

juice are very happy to be commissioning Dalston-based, NZ-born composer Lucy Mulgan to write a substantial work for them, funded by the New Zealand Arts Council.

Return to Tampere

juice loved their return trip to perform at the Tampere International Vocal Festival following their 2nd prize two years ago. You can see some photos (on the Wednesday night) here.

Triumphant Wigmore Hall debut

juice had a brilliant gig to a great crowd at Wigmore Hall on April 6th 2009. Read the Times' ecstatic review here. This was followed up with a similar programme at the Macbeth in Hoxton in May.

Woman's Hour!

juice also appeared on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour on the same day as their Wigmore debut , performing two live songs and being interviewed. You can hear it until next Monday here.

juice on Mikhail's new album

juice feature on incredible vocalist Mikhail's new limited edition, handcrafted album, Morphica, which brings together artists and musicians from 5 continents together to remix his previous album, 'Orphica'. juice have re-imagined 'Invisible Thread' as a multitracked voice piece. The album iwas released in March 2009 on Sub Rosa records and juice's track has already been used by the Nederlands Dance Theatre for a competition. See here for more details.
