juice have delivered a range of workshops and seminars in community and education centres including London, Bradford, Salisbury, Surrey, Devon and Belfast. They are part of the Live Music Now scheme and have been Ensemble-in Residence at the universities of York, Newcastle and Ulster.

With a wealth of teaching experience from nursery to postgraduate level, they can offer:
Primary School Workshops
Fun, practical workshops in singing as a group. This can include a whole school performance and a session lasting up to two hours involving a class or year group with musical games, drama and movement, in keeping with National Curriculum Guidelines.
Community Workshops
Active, participatory workshops for groups of any age with any level of singing experience. This can include building up confidence in singing, warm-up exercises and putting together a range of short pieces from African music to contemporary styles.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Seminars and Workshops
Seminars can be given on contemporary vocal repertoire and vocal practice, ensemble singing and composing for voices (including workshopping pieces written by students for us). Practical workshops involving warm-ups, an intruduction to experimental vocal styles and vocal styles in world music, drama and movement can be included. Sessions can be tailored to meet the requirements of the department and is usually tied in with a lunchtime or evening performance.
juice recently devised and led a Collective Performance Project at Newcastle University, culminating in an evocative vocal experience from a large group of mixed-background students. We are happy to discuss large projects such as this so please do get in touch.
