Anna Snow completed her degree and MA in Vocal Studies with John Potter, at York University and is currently studying with Linda Hirst, head of the vocal faculty at Trinity College of Music.
Since leaving university Anna has performed regularly both as a soloist and as an ensemble singer. She is a core member of the New London Chamber Choir performing contemporary music in festivals across Europe, most recently appearing as soloist on a DVD of Feldman due to be released in 2009 on Mode Records.
Anna is also a founder member of the Choir of London, an ensemble composed of professional singers committed to charitable work, with a strong emphasis on working with both Israeli and Palestinian musicians. Their critically-acclaimed debut CD, released in 2007, reached the top of the UK Classical chart.
Anna has done a substantial amount of educational work, including choral animateuring at the 7 Locks Festival, Northamptonshire, with pianist David Owen Norris where she taught groups of 20 to 200 children The Daniel Jazz. She was Head of Music from 2004-7 at Reedham Park School, Surrey.
